You don't need to be rich to give away something precious.

A kind word from a stranger. A hug from a close friend. Holding hands with someone you love. Your favourite dish cooked by no one but your mother. Harmless quarrel with your sibling. News forwards from your dad. A compliment from someone at work. You don't need to be rich to give away something precious.

It's okay

 It's okay

Two words. Very polarizing. Sometimes just what we need to hear. Sometimes just whats shouldn't be said at all.

Sometimes we get to comfortable with these words and that becomes a problem. Sometimes we don't value & accept those words for our self and that is a problem as well.

It can act as that comforting hug when youn need to slow down & pause. As well as a habit of toxic tolerance, in-disguise.

It's okay to get caught up in this sorcery of words. 'Coz that's how we truly come to know, the difference...

And that's how we master this art of words & when to say it, when to not; when to listen to it,

when to not. So, it's okay... It's ok means not okay at all times๐Ÿ˜” sometimes We reply this words  with anger sometimes with happy

How does westernization have an impact on India and it's culture?

How does westernization have an impact on India and it's culture?

Introduction to westernization.
Westernization is a process in which societies adopt western cultures in areas such as industry, technology, law, politics, economies and lifestyles, clothing, language etc. Today, there are many people who are westernizing themselves among many cultures. Westernization has become common in the world especially in India. People normally get a plastic surgery to look western is because it gives the back a round and a perkier shape, it also straightens hair. People want to change themselves like this because they are not satisfied of the way they are. They also think that being western is superior, and because they have a dominant history. Westernization does not only include plastic surgery, but people also change their lifestyles to become like a western person.

The Indian culture

The Indian culture is one of the oldest and richest cultures, it has a long shaped history and an ancient heritage. There are many festivals and celebrations which happen in India every year. This country has a population of more than 1 billion and is a culture in which there are more than 700 languages spoken. This culture however, is now being impacted by westernization and everything is slowly changing and is becoming western.

Westernization impact on the Indian culture.
Westernization is a kind of globalization which is spreading throughout Asian countries especially in India. The Indian culture is ones of the oldest and the richest cultures however, now that the western culture is kicking in, e.g. goods, festivals, dressings, foods etc.,  it is impacting on the Indian culture in many ways. The western culture is that it is replacing itself with the Indian culture.

Negative impacts of westernization on the Indian culture.

Dressings.
Westernization is ruining the traditional clothing of the Indian culture. For example, in India, the traditional dressing is sari, dhoti and kurta however, today there are lots of people wearing more of a western clothing like jeans, tee-shirts and girls are wearing short skirts tops etc. In India, there is approximately 25% of western clothing. The change of fashion in India is now leading to reduction of the importance of the Indian culture to many people.

Festivals.
The western culture is impacting on the Indian festivals in may ways too. All Indians greatly celebrate their festivals every year and enjoy them very much. Today, large numbers of people in India are not celebrating their own festivals like Holi or Diwali, but instead, they are celebrating more of western cultures like Christmas or Halloween. Also, in the Indian religion, no boy or girl are allowed to date each other however, today in India, many youngsters are breaking these laws and are celebrating valentines day and are not alert of their religion and this is reducing the value of the Indian religion for them.

Foods
The Indian plate has welcomed many western foods (e.g pizza, burgers, steak tacos etc.), and Indian foods like Golgapa, curry etc., are being less popular in India, however are becoming common in Europe while the western foods are growing stronger and are becoming more popular in India. Western foods contain too much fat and this causing the obesity rate in India to increase. In the Indian religion, you are not allowed to eat pork or meat however, since the western foods have kicked in, many Indians are no longer respecting their religion and are eating things against their religion. This is causing the value of the Indian religion to decrease and is changing many people's lifestyles. Today in India, there are more western restaurants like KFC, or Mac Donald's compared to the Indian restaurants there are.

Language
In India, there are more than 700 languages spoken. However, many of these mother tongue languages are beginning to fade away. As usual, to get a good job, you must know the basic language (English) or other additional ones. So many many people today are focusing on these languages and are forgetting about their mother tongue thus, this is making their religion less important.

Lifestyles and People
Westernization has changed many peoples lifestyles. Now, there is no particular lifestyle that is Indian. Most things have changed like respect to the young ones and elders, importance of a family, marriage making, clothing, festivals, foods, names, languages and even getting a plastic surgery to look more western. People are changing themselves and are trying to adapt like western people. Westernization is also reducing the equality of lifestyles in India. In the Indian culture, in order to visit a temple, you must have the right clothing although, it is shocking to see that today, there are many teenagers who are dressing as modern people e.g stylish haircuts, jeans, tee-shirts etc., when entering a temple. In the Indian culture, people had respect for the young and elders however, since the western culture has arrived, the respect had gone and now the behaviors of many people have changed.

Music
The Indian music has changed greatly due to in taking of the western culture. Indians have their own traditional music and instruments like flute, drums, etc., however, today they are using different instruments like guitars to make their music and now, Indian songs sound completely different and are nothing like what they sounded before.

Positive Impacts of westernization on the Indian culture.

Modernization
The western culture has impacted on India in many negative ways however, it has also influenced India in many ways too. For example, it is making India more modern. The Indian culture is a very old culture and is staying the same however, now the western culture is changing it to become more modern. Today, the western media is now making many people in India especially teenagers dressing more modernly like jeans, tee shirts etc. Modernization has also enabled to increase the economic growth of India.

 Public Health
Due to westernization influence, sanitation and public health has improved greatly in India. Many western doctors have immigrated into India and have made medicines which have helped reduce sicknesses, diseases in large parts because health care has become accessible.

 Labor
The presence of western traders in India have increased the demands for goods and services in India. As a result of that, Indian artisans, craftsmen and weavers have employed. These artisans and craftsmen have grown in numbers and now the Indian labor force and become more skilled and handy.

Education

Westernization has also benefited areas of education in India. When the British occupied India, they build many schools throughout the country and this made the literacy increase and the poorest class of society had access to knowledge.

 Films and movies
Westernization has brought media as well in India. For example, in America, India now has a famous movie making media called ‘Bollywood’ which came from Hollywood in America. Bollywood’s films now traditionally feature India, its culture, tradition and religion. Bollywood is now quiet popular in India and many people know about it. So media in India has also improved due to the western culture.

So is westernization a good thing or a bad thing?
Westernization has brought many negative impacts on India however, it has also brought many benefits as well although, there are more advantages of westernization compared to the disadvantages. Still, India should take care of this globalization because in the future, it will change India and destroy it's religion, culture and tradition.

Orangutans and otters strike up darling friendship at Belgium zoo

Orangutans and otters strike up darling friendship at Belgium zoo

A family of orangutans and a romp of river otters are the furriest of friends, according to zookeepers in Belgium who purposefully arranged for the primates' and mustelids' habitats to intersect.

Photos of these curious bedfellows went viral after Pairi Daiza, a privately owned zoo and botanical garden located in Belgium's province of Hainaut, recently
"The presence of a family of Asian small-clawed otters in [the orangutans'] territories is not a coincidence," Mathieu Goedefroy, Pairi Daiza spokesperson, told Live Science in an email. Orangutans (genus Pongo) share 97% of their DNA with humans, and like their Homo sapiens' cousins, orangutans "must be entertained, occupied, challenged and kept busy mentally, emotionally and physically at all times,"
Goedefroy said. The zoo has five orangutans: a male and female couple named Gempa and Sinta, as well as a family of three — the 24-year-old daddy Ujian, 15-year-old mommy Sari and their 4-year-old son Berani, who arrived at Pairi Daiza in 2017 after they moved from Heidelberg Zoo in Germany.
The father-son duo Ujian and Berani have already "developed a very special bond with their neighbors," Goedefroy noted.
In addition to playing with their otter friends, the orangutans, a subspecies from Sumatra, have a number of other enrichment programs, "where our keepers entertain them all day long with mind games, riddles, puzzles and other stuff to train their intelligence," Goedefroy said.

All three species of orangutan are critically endangered, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This includes the Bornean (P. pygmaeus) and Sumatran (P. abelii) orangutans, as well as the Tapanuli orangutan (P. tapanuliensis), which lives in the Batang Toru forests of Sumatra, Indonesia, and was confirmed as a distinct species in 2017. There are fewer than 800 known P. tapanuliensis orangutans in the wild, the IUCN reported.
In total, the orangutan population on Borneo and Sumatra stands at about 71,820 individuals, according to a 2016 report by the IUCN. These orangutans are endangered, in large part, because of deforestation (from palm oil exploitation in their forests) and poaching.

In the late 1990s, orangutans experienced catastrophic habitat loss in southern Borneo because of the Mega Rice Project. During this project, people tried to replace 2 million acres (1 million hectares) of forest with rice crops to help them achieve food self-sufficiency, according to Pairi Daiza's website. However, the project didn't work; no rice grew in the forest soil.

While the project was quickly abandoned, the forest still bears the scars: It is impossible for the native vegetation to return to these dried-out lands," Pairi Daiza said. The zoo has now raised funds to helip plant 11,000 trees in the devastated forests of Borneo, Goedefroy said.

MERI DIARY

MERI DIARY

Image result for writing diary

today I went to the beach.
my favorite part is
when the ocean starts
showing up above the horizontal line
drawn by the asphalt.
you see this second shade of blue,
darker,
getting bigger, closer
and you breathe that refreshing salty smell
and you close your eyes
and take a deep breath
as if getting ready to enter another state of mind,
transcend.

the sand was unbearably hot
the water was warmer and warmer
strange pieces of seaweed floated
and touched my body,
got stuck in my hands, arms, curls.
but at least I saw a turtle
swimming as if it was as peaceful
as I am now that I've came back from the ocean,
wet and with my hair full of sand,
my skin darker,
my mind as clear as that blue sky...

the weather forecast says it is going to rain soon

Rape trauma syndrome, RTS

                    Rape trauma syndrome (RTS

Rape trauma syndrome (RTS) is the psychological trauma experienced by a rape victim that includes disruptions to normal physical, emotional, cognitive, and interpersonal behavior. The theory was first described by nurse Ann Wolbert Burgess and sociologist Lynda Lytle Holmstrom in 1974.
RTS is a cluster of psychological and physical signs, symptoms and reactions common to most rape victims immediately following a rape, but which can also occur for months or years afterwards. While most research into RTS has focused on female victims, sexually abused males (whether by male or female perpetrators) also exhibit RTS symptoms.RTS paved the way for consideration of complex post-traumatic stress disorder, which can more accurately describe the consequences of serious, protracted trauma than posttraumatic stress disorder alone.]

The symptoms of RTS and post-traumatic stress syndrome overlap. As might be expected, a person who has been raped will generally experience high levels of distress immediately afterward. These feelings may subside over time for some people; however, individually each syndrome can have long devastating effects on rape victims and some victims will continue to experience some form of psychological distress for months or years. It has also been found that rape survivors are at high risk for developing substance use disorders, major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and eating disorders
Rapists is a mad people who always thinking rape if thise people nat punished by law they  will be also raped. So goverment find thats type of mad people who raped child and rare case victime ..  The goverment make a law who take less time to punished ..  And the law is only punished death rare pape case and finished in the sociaty of this people. Than safe society by Rapists,   Under 6 to 1 year...Rapists punished by  only death

rapists punished only death.     It is god law

few things in life

Image result for a few things on life so beautiful they hurt

A There are a few things in life so beautiful they hurt: swimming in the ocean while it rains, reading alone in empty libraries, the sea of stars that appear when you’re miles away from the neon lights of the city, bars after 2am, walking in the wilderness, all the phases of the moon, the things we do not know about the universe, and you.”

Difference between spiritual emotion and emotion

Difference between spiritual emotion and emotion

In the article ‘What is spiritual emotion?’ we have explained spiritual emotion. In this article we will explain the difference between our normal emotions and spiritual emotion.

1. What are emotions?

All of us have experienced emotions (bhฤvanฤ) in ourselves and in others. Emotions are feelings related to our worldly life. They are basically the attitudes of the conscious mind. Our emotions give us happiness or unhappiness, and they are related to our little ‘i’. Hence in a state of emotion, we identify even more with our 5 senses, mind and intellect. It follows that being highly emotional makes us further entrenched in our worldly existence and increases our awareness about our own existence. That is why being emotional in nature takes us that much away from God.
The soul

2. What is spiritual emotion?

On the other hand, spiritual emotion (bhฤv) is a state of communion with God. It is related to the sub-conscious mind (chitta). When one’s spiritual emotion is awakened, for that time one transcends one’s usual state of identification with a worldly existence. The awareness of one’s own existence also reduces. Thus in a state of spiritual emotion one transcends the little ‘i’ and identifies with the big ‘I’. Spiritual emotion gives us a spiritual experience of Bliss (ฤ€nand). Bliss is a state of superlative happiness, however it is beyond happiness and unhappiness.

3. How to differentiate spiritual emotion from worldly emotion?

In the case of a highly emotional person, many a times emotion is mistaken for spiritual emotion, especially when it appears in a spiritual setting. For example this can happen when a person is in the throes of emotion in a place of worship, or when in the presence of a spiritual master (Guru) whom he may have psychological attachment to. Whether what one is experiencing is emotion or spiritual emotion can be confirmed only through the medium of active sixth sense or extrasensory perception (ESP). However, at an intellectual level we can verify to some extent whether what we are experiencing is just emotion or a spiritual experience by checking the following criteria:
  • Reduction in Ego or ‘i’ness: In a state of spiritual emotion there is a marked reduction in our ego. Hence we can check for our ego manifestations as an aid to decide whether we are experiencing normal emotion or spiritual emotion. For example we can check whether we feel ego about the state of spiritual emotion itself while we are going through the experience. However if the spiritual emotion is not sustained, ego can rise at a later date.
  • Reduction in body consciousness:During a state of spiritual emotion, as one identifies to varying degrees with the big ‘I’, one loses body consciousness to that extent. Hence when one’s spiritual emotion is awakened and becomes manifest in the form of any of the eightfold manifestations like tears of Bliss, etc., one does not feel self-conscious. This is so even when one is shy or reserved and spiritual emotion is awakened in the presence of many strangers.
An SSRF seeker, a senior employee in an international bank, remembered his Guru and experienced spiritual emotion when walking on the street. Tears started rolling down his cheeks but he was oblivious to them, so lost was he in his state of spiritual emotion.
  • Experience of love without expectations: Spiritual emotion is basically a state of experiencing God within ourselves and in others. Also, in this state our awareness about ourselves is low. Hence in this state one experiences love without expectations (prฤซti) for others.
  • Cool tears: If the manifestation of our spiritual emotion is in the form of tears, they are cool. On the other hand, tears resulting from normal emotion are warm to the touch.
  • Type of crying: Crying resulting from emotion, especially of grief can be of the sobbing kind. Crying following spiritual emotion is of the silent variety.
  • Feeling after the state: Again, as spiritual emotion is a state of communion with God, even after coming out of that state, one experiences vestiges of the identification with the big ‘I’. This can be experienced in the form of reduction in small-mindedness, more stability, increase in spiritual maturity, better intellectual conviction about spiritual practice and God-realisation, etc.
